OSMTH Statement to UN Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC)

The Sovereign Military Order of the Temple of Jerusalem (OSMTH), is how we are known by the United Nations as an NGO in special consultative status. Because of this, we were granted the opportunity to submit a statement to the Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC) of the United Nations. Having a submitted statement accepted by ECOSOC is a recognition of the acceptance of a quality document. The content of the statement addresses OSMTH’s perspective on the support of “… the Sustainable Development Goals and the well-being of all peoples through sustainable and resilient recovery from the COVID-19 pandemic.”
We thank Envoy General Simon Le Fevre for the initial drafting of the statement and Grand Commander George MacLean for his approval, as president of the OSMTH UN mission, to submit it.
