A Message from the Grand Commander
George MacLean GCSG GCTJ
Fellow Templars,
Many of our health systems have started a vaccination programme, but risk of COVID-19 remains and as you know we have cancelled our meeting in Bulgaria in April. However the administration of OSMTH continue despite this, and to meet our organisational responsibility there will be an online GCG on Saturday 17th April to which every knight and dame in good standing is welcome to attend.
A GCG is a special event, run every two years which meets our corporate legal requirement. You can consider it to be like a shareholder meeting. Questions can be asked from the floor, and if necessary, suggestions taken away to be considered by the Grand Magistral Council, who are the legislative body of our international organisation. Whilst any member is welcome to attend, there is a special category of “delegate” who may vote. Your grand prior will inform the Secretary General of OSMTH who the delegates are to be. As this is an ideal opportunity for you to ask questions directly to the Magisterium of OSMTH, I encourage you to attend.
Further details about how to register and receive the meeting link and all documentation in advance will be sent out shortly.
We now focus on Zagreb in the beautiful country of Croatia for our next meeting!
Keep well, keep safe.
nnDnn,
George MacLean GCSG GCTJ
Grand Commander
